LEADERS IN THE MAKING

'Leaders are not born but are made.' We at D.P.S. Sharjah Primary Wing tap the leadership qualities of a student at a young age and honour such students by appointing them prefects for a year. The selection is made from amongst Grade V students, and an able panel headed by our headmistress interviews the candidates and selects the best few to lead the school in every way. An Investiture Ceremony attended by parents of selected prefects is organized and badges are adorned on each selected prefect. The solemn occasion is presided over by a distinguished chief guest whose aspiring words every year are an inspiration for our selected prefects.
