A very important key to success is self confidence and the path to self-confidence is paved through preparation. In a world where there is outstanding research and scholarship, education, perseverance and practise become the important pillars of any success. In school a student is groomed and nurtured so that when he/she strides into an adult world confidently and he or she becomes responsible, independent and a good team player. The connecting thread is - quality and excellence and so one should not compromise on it.
The resilience of our nature was seen over these two years, and having flown past the summit of our fears, we should realise that nothing is impossible, and the infallible human spirit and will-power will always triumph over petty hurdles.
We need to build dreams around our inspirations and ability while respecting the rights and differences and dignity of others. Being accountable for our actions is most important and where there is pursuit of excellence either in work or play, success cannot be too far away. After all it is in our hands. As a well-known philosopher says: the magic 10 words are ‘If it is to be it is up to me!!’
